"My angel, my all, my very self - Only a few words today and at that with pencil... Ah, wherever I am, there you are also..."
~ Ludwig Van Beethoven
Quote Excerpt from Beethoven's Immortal Beloved Letters

An affair that arouses, exhilarates and awakens can depict the spirit of a model summer romance, yet it is prone to be as fleeting as the flame which incited its arousal.  Even so, it may act as the kindle of a deep and long-lasting love affair.  Fortunately, the time is lush and ripe for you to rekindle a deep affectionate and meaningful romance... a romance with you. You are your immortal beloved.

An encouraging way to start is by beginning a new ritual of romancing your true self in noteworthy ways.  To fall in-love with yourself you must actually re-acquaint your self with your heart.  Strengthen the bond so that love can flow freely. The rhythm of your emotional heart beat will passionately energize, intensify and enliven... the nature of true-romance.

Many years back I attended my very first women in business leadership conference, which truly inspired me to continue to follow my intuition to hone my gifts so that I can step more fully
into my purpose and realize my dream of a thriving practice.

I recall the supportive encouragement and the dynamic energy of the women pioneers and facilitators, which also spread throughout the rest of the group. However, the most significant experience that
day was reading the poem that had been included in our program binder.  It touched me deeply and brightened my flame of hope -- the incitement I needed for inspired action to continue on the what I felt was my journey on the path less travelled.

I am sharing with you this poem in hopes that it will also touch you in a meaningful way and spur you into action on your journey.  I have retyped it from the original copy that I received and keep in my journal.

Imagine A Women
by: Patricia Lynn Reilly

Imagine a woman who believes it is right and good she is woman.
A woman who honors her experience and tells her stories.
Who refuses to carry the sins of others within her body and life....

“The Feminine Essence blooms from her sense of knowing, which blossoms from her sense-abilities."
 - Marcela Lily Veron

The expression of sensibility transmits the ability to appreciate, receive, and respond to intricate emotional or aesthetic influences -- deriving simplicity from complexity. Through grace and presence, the feminine essence embodies and exudes the receptive flow of sensibility. To start, presence emanates from connecting fully with our senses.

The gift stems from invoking the senses to align with our feeling perception. The nature of the feminine principle is receptivity, being open to receive stimulation in a responsive manner. Your well-being benefits if done in a nourishing way, so in turn you may give from that resonance -- the sensible and natural flow of giving and receiving.

My intention in creating this article was to share with you a few fun ways that you can tap into your feeling through sensations. Putting it together I remembered a scene from a movie that will better "show" you what I mean. The famous scene from a "Scent of a Woman", the 1992 movie with Al Pacino & Chris O'Donnell...

The Water Cycle 02/25/2011

One of my favorite inspirational messages I receive regularly is from the Daily Om.  Many of you may be familiar with this website’s heartfelt and profound messages of wisdom, which are sent on via e-mail.  Today’s message dealt with “Unconscious Communication: Addressing chronic lateness helps us to better honor both others and ourselves", a subject that spurred me to post a comment discussing the impact of the “water” element, one of the nine archetypal characteristics that can be represented in someone’s Star Quality.  I’ve shared the comment below (reworded to elaborate in more detail) and welcome any questions or reactions in return.

Here is a snippet of the article:

“Being late for an appointment or a date can seem like a small thing that really doesn’t matter, but it communicates volumes, whether we mean it to or not . . . If it’s become a habit of ours not to be on time, we may want to look inside ourselves and see what’s going on . . . .”’

This article resonated with me because it highlights the role that punctuality can play in interpersonal connections:  being on time is equivalent to being considerate.  This may hold true in reverse, in that being late can demonstrate disregard for the other person(s) involved.  The accompanying message suggests that self-reflection can help in making necessary changes.  I agree—understanding one’s own tendencies and internal clock is part of the process.  I also felt the importance of offering another perspective.  A pattern of consistent lateness reveals the possibility that a person’s underlying nature is a factor.
In the work that I do, one of the things I try to determine when working with a client who struggles with the issue of chronic lateness in his or her life is whether the person contains the element of water in his or her energetic makeup—a “water” person, so to speak.

Today, 2/22 expresses the universal power of 2 in its fundamental form and in its highest octave.
The spirit of 2 exudes the power of relating and the essence of coupling -- conjuring a visual of the yin and yang connected at its heart center, creating wholeness through it's complimentary dance and holding the other's awareness in its heart...

I came across this quote from the book  "Wood Becomes Water"

"You have noticed that everything an Indian does is in a circle,
and that is because the Power of the World always works in circles,
and everything tries to be round....
The sky is round, and I have heard that the earth is round like a ball,
 and so are the stars.
The wind in its greatest power, whirls.
Birds makes their nests in circles,
for theirs is the same religion as ours....
Even the seasons forma great circle in their changing,
and always come back again to where they were.
The life a man is a circle from childhood to childhood,
and so it is in everything where Power moves.
~ Black Elk, Oglala Sioux

"Lord most giving and resourceful, I implore you:
Make it your will that these people enjoy
the good and riches you naturally give,
that naturally issue form you,
that are pleasing and savory,
that delight and comfort,
though lasting but briefly,
passing away as if in a dream."

We return thanks to our mother, the earth, which sustains us.
We return thanks to rivers  and streams, which supply us with water.
We return thanks to all herbs, which furnish medicines for the cure of our diseases.
We return thanks to the corn and to her sisters, the beans and squash, which give us life.
We return thanks to the corn and to her sisters, the beans and squash, which gives us life.
We return thanks to the bushes and tress, which provide us with fruit.
We return thanks to the wind.,which moving the air, air has banished diseases.
We return thanks to the moon and the stars, which has given us their light when the sun was gone.
We return thanks to our Grandfather He-no, ..., who has given to us his rain.
We return thanks to the sun, that has looked upon the earth with a beneficent eye.
Lastly, we return thanks to the Great Spirit, in whom is embodied all goodness, and who directs all things for the good of his children.

For Fun + Intention = FUNction:
The time of the Harvest yields the benefits of the process and fertile experience resulting from our ongoing journey.   Amethyst, is the quartz known for its crystalline healing, heavenly knowledge and perception.  Violet, is the color of the crown chakra, center of connection of life force energy (chi/qi/ki) of wisdom and universal oneness.  Depicted as a lotus flower or water lily, the Violet Energy Center of unfolding to universal and higher consciousness.  Purposefully revealed on 9/22, the number is the number of passion, insight and expression;  communication of power,  purpose and direction - The Fire element.  The 22 is a Master number of higher purpose to share universal wisdom with others; a healing number.  Intended during a (yin wood/tree) month of blessings and abundance that yields a karmic power of 9 (Fire) passion, also rhythms, cycles and heart.
